‘The Warden’ ends screening in Iran cinemas

Iran film ‘The Warden’ has been scheduled to end screening in Iran cinemas from August 21, 2019.

Iran cinemas will end screening of ‘The Warden’ after 10 weeks of hosting the movie. The flick will be replaced by ‘Russian’ directed by Amir-Hossein Saghafi.

In the past weeks, the flik was among the bestselling films of Iran box office chart.

“The head of the prison, Major Nemat Jahed, and his officers are in the midst of transferring the prisoners to the new facility,” a short summary of the flick read.

Produced by Majid Motalebi, ‘The Warden’ was premiered on the opening day of the 37th Fajr Film Festival in Iran.

It features popular actors such as Navid Mohammadzadeh, Parinaz Izadyar, Atila Pesyani, Setareh Pesyani, Habib Rezaee and Mani Haqiqi.
